I always have my calendar open on the homescreen, so I can keep track of those. I also usually use the "entire day" entries, and I'm not sure when the notification will happen then (and I'm afraid it...

I agree, configurable is best. But may I ask why you'd want calendar entries without a reminder? I'm just curious as I see no use for it, although I still don't think it should be forced on people of...

Even if it's opt-in, please make it possible to opt out from it. It was a default on N900 and it pissed me off to no end that I had to turn it off every single time.

I think there is a bug in the defaults: Any time I set a reminder to be at the time of the event it sounds one hour before that. Does anyone else have the same problem? Might it be related to...

I would also prefer this to be a configurable option you can set in the options menu of the calendar application

Thanks so much for the info! But I rather dislike the solution. It takes care of my usge just fine since I focus more on when I need the reminder than when events are. However, people that properly...

I wasn't thinking of anything specific. Just an honest question because some things might not be possible due to legal. I think the topic of patching closed source components has been brought up in a...

Sure, no. But i gladly surrender any claim to the code, a thanks is more than sufficient payment. Or what were you thinking about?

Well, the current way to have options is through the settings "app" and then under apps... But there are no such settings for the calendar app.

Hi! Yes, I definetely support this! Yesterday I was thinking the same, I use the calendar events to remind me of some tasks, so for example I would like to be able to set my own defaults for the...

A settings option in the pulley menu of the main page wouldn't be disruptive, and would allow for other use cases as well.

If I understood correctly, this is still an issue with release 1.0.8.19 (Tahkalampi), right? At least I didn't see any mention in the release notes.

I also would like if every calendar item woukd show up on the lock screen as ˝upcoming events˝ or ˝today´s events˝. I do nit need a reminder for everything (it doesn´t hurts though) but I open my phone...

I believe the calendar needs quite some love before being fully useful. In particular reminder as pointed here. For the moment, even if my sim is now in jolla, i still use N9 for calendar...

Is there no status update from Jolla? I was hoping this would be fixed in the 1.0.3.8 Release.

Nope.. And also calendar stills shows wrong day until you poke it if left open over night.. and adding reminders when current time is between 22 and 00 (especially if having previously selected the day...

This appears to have been broken in 3.0.2.8. Anyone else seeing this? I'll also take the opportunity to point out that this would be much better as a setting and not the non-obvious way that it was...
